Biography

Ian Munday’s background is in philosophy of education and English literature. Ian is currently a Senior Lecturer in educational philosophy at NUI Galway.  Prior to this he was an English teacher, a Teaching Associate in philosophy of education at the University of Cambridge and a Lecturer in Education at the University of Stirling. His research focuses on the language of education, creativity and problem-solving. Ian is currently Convenor of the philosophy of education network at the European Conference on Educational research.
