Email

Staff and Students of NUI Galway can access their email via an internet browser using Outlook Web App or via an Email Client.
Staff log in using their email username (e.g. 0123456s@universityofgalway.ie) and Campus Account password,
Student log in using their University of Galway email address (e.g. j.bloggs1@universityofgalway.ie) and Campus Account password.

How to Login to Outlook Web App (OWA)

OWA allows access to your entire Office 365 suite of Apps, including email, from any device with an internet connection and a web browser.

To Access OWA go to the OWA Login Page. The Office 365 login screen appears.

For User Name: For Staff the format for a Campus Account username is derived from your staff ID number. The format is 7 digits followed by 's'.  If CASS ID number = 0123456s, then Office 365 username = 0123456s@universityofgalway.ie  Students enter their University of Galway email address (e.g. j.bloggs1@universityofgalway.ie) For Password, type in your Campus Account password.  Click the Sign in button.

Once logged in, you will see your mail inbox, you will also be able to navigate to other Office 365 Apps by clicking on the ‌‌ button from the top ribbon.
