How to Apply
Eligibility, Application & Timeline
Programme Eligibility
- Must be a current NUI Galway undergraduate medical student
- Priority given to 2nd/3rd year students
- Years 1-4 may apply
Please consider the following carefully, before submitting your application;
- Significant Time Commitment; 6-8 weeks full time research, Clinical or Laboratory based.
- Funding is not guaranteed: not a replacement for a summer job.
- Location: you must be located at same site as research supervisor for duration of the project.
Application Process
The Programme is extremely competitive with a limited number of places available. Please make sure you submit your application on time. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
All applications must submit an online Application Form to be considered for the Programme, even if the research project is being organised independently by a student and supervisor.
