Biography

Dr Yvonne Finn has extensive experience in both undergraduate and post-graduate medical education. Her roles include many years of experience in leading and working closely with colleagues in the School of Medicine in curricular development, assessments and teaching of clinical skills. 
More recently she is Vice-Dean for Internationalisation in the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at NUI Galway and leads on internationalisation activities, such as international student electives, cultural competence training for staff and setting up new international partnerships.
Dr Finn's main focus of research is health literacy and she is currently collaborating with other researchers in health literacy research.
