Head of Department

The Head of Radiology is Professor Peter McCarthy who has a joint clinical and academic appointment to Galway Regional Hospitals and to University of Galway as a Consultant Radiologist and Established Professor of Radiology (8:3 sessional split). The lecturer in Radiology is Dr. Donald Courtney (3 academic sessions) .
