My Erasmus placement in Montpellier was an amazing experience. It encouraged my personal growth and development of my global mindset. There is nothing more rewarding than leaping out of your comfort zone and living in a new country while experiencing a new hospital environment.

The three months that I spent in France were some of the most rewarding, fulfilling, and eye-opening months of my medical school experience so far. My time in the French hospital pushed me to be more resilient and confident with regards to patient interactions and clinical skills. This experience really pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I am so glad I chose to partake in it because I came out of it feeling more confident, knowledgeable and accomplished than before. I would highly recommend this Erasmus exchange experience to all other medical students.
