Qualitative and Integrative Research Methods and Action research

Our research includes methodological papers, books and book chapters about using qualitative methods in communication disorders research.

Action Research

Action Research (AR) can be described as research that is undertaken into one’s own practice, organization or community with the aim to change and improve it. AR is not just about researching phenomena, but an important step in the process is to make changes to existing practices and evaluate these changes. Data collection can be either quantitative, qualitative or both. The focus is on change.
