Marks Return
NUI Galway's Online Results Return system automates the upload of final module marks between Blackboard Grade Centre and our Student Records (Quercus).
Curriculum Manager (Akari) / Canvas tutors can access Canvas using your Campus Account Credentials. Once you have extracted your marks from Canvas grade center, you will receive an email alert with a link to check that the marks were successfully uploaded. Follow the steps below.
Marks Return Steps
The preferred browsers to use are Firefox or Google Chrome.
1. Perform Extract
Enter your marks as normal in Canvas Grade Centre, making sure you 'Perform Extract’.
2. Email Alert
Within 1 to 2 hours, you will receive an automated email, to your University of Galway email account, summarising the status of your marks returned. It will also contain a link to a webpage, where you can view in detail whether marks were accepted or rejected. To access the webpage, on or off campus, you will be prompted to log in using your Campus Account credentials.
3. Next Steps
- If your marks were all accepted, then no further steps are necessary.
