Guidance when using a personal / self managed device at work
Responsibilities
If you are using a personal / self managed device for any University related activity, you have a responsibility to ensure that it is configured safely and securly.
Self-Managed Computers
Any computer or device you use that is not University owned counts as a self-managed computer. ISS will only support equipment pruchased via official procurement channels. Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
This is any computer or device that you own, that is used for any kind of university business. If you do University work on it, you are responsible for ensuring it is configured securely.
