We value the vital role charities play in shaping research priorities and advancing healthcare solutions. By partnering with charitable organisations, we ensure that our clinical trials address the real-world needs of patients and communities. Together, we work to design patient-centered research, secure funding, and translate scientific discoveries into meaningful healthcare improvements.

We invite charities to collaborate with us, leveraging our expertise and resources to drive positive change in healthcare.

Featured charity: National Institute for Prevention and Cardiovascular Health (NIPC)

The National Institute for Prevention and Cardiovascular Health (NIPC) is dedicated to positioning Ireland as an International leader in Cardiovascular Health through education, research, implementation science and policy development.

NIPC was co-founded by the University of Galway and Croí, The West of Ireland Heart & Stroke Foundation, as an Independent not-for-profit organisation in 2014. NIPC’s mission is to provide leadership through discovery, training and applied programmes to prevent and control cardiovascular disease for all, raise the standards of preventive cardiology practice, enhance cardiovascular health and promote healthier lifestyles, and prepare leaders to advance preventive healthcare. As a leading advocate in cardiovascular disease prevention, NIPC is actively involved in major international studies, including the INTERASPIRE and EUROASPIRE surveys, which focus on the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases across Europe and beyond.
By collaborating with the Institute for Clinical Trials at University of Galway, NIPC can provide access to patients in the community, enables an environment that allows patients and the public to contribute to the research lifecycle and through NIPCs extended partnerships can facilitate early-stage pilots of innovative technologies, interventions or prevention strategies. This partnership enhances the Institute for Clinical Trials mission to rapidly translate research into impact, supported by NIPC's involvement in a broad range of initiatives collectively aimed at reducing the global burden of cardiovascular disease.
