Course Content:

This programme is aimed at new team leaders/managers or participants seeking a promotion to a management role.  The purpose of this programme is to develop learners’ leadership skills and to equip them with the relevant knowledge, skills and competences to lead their teams effectively.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the role of the front-line manager
• Differentiate between leadership and management
• Appreciate how working relationships can be improved with effective communication
• Promote hybrid team working
• Recognise how to motivate their team
• Understand models of change management and how to overcome resistance to change
