CAMPUS ACCOUNT

Your Campus Account credentials provide access using asingle User ID to a range of IT services in University of Galway. Your ID is derived by preceding your six digit payroll number with a leading zero ‘0’ and adding a trailing ‘s’. E.g. if your payroll no. is 123456 then your Campus Account ID would be 0123456s.

We recommend that staff change the temporary password at 1st login. You can do this via Self-Service Password Reset here. More information available from the ISS webpage Services for Staff - University of Galway.

STAFF ID CARD

To request a staff ID card please follow the quick guide here. You must upload an ID photo before requesting an ID Card. For information on how to upload your staff ID photo via Employee Self Service (Core Portal) please use the link here.

PARKING

Information regarding campus parking and applying for a parking permit can be found here.

INDUCTION

Induction attendance is mandatory for new staff and is important in ensuring a smooth transition into your role at the University.You will receive an email invitation to attend the next scheduled induction but if you do not receive this email please contact
learninganddevelopment@universityofgalway.ie.

Log into Core Portal using your University of Galway account. See here for information on how to access your University of Galway account.
