Healthy Environment

Human health and the environment are deeply interconnected, with daily actions affecting the environment and, in turn, influencing our well-being. Clean air and water are essential for survival, while time spent in nature has been proven to benefit mental health. University of Galway is committed to fostering a culture of safety, respect, and inclusion, alongside a healthy physical environment that offers clean air, fresh water, and access to nature for all staff and students.
