Collaborators

The Health Economics & Policy Analysis Centre collaborates with a variety of esteemed research centres, departments, and institutes to advance our understanding of health economics and policy. These partnerships allow us to combine expertise from multiple fields, enriching our research and providing a more comprehensive perspective on health-related issues.

One of our primary collaborators is CÚRAM, the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Medical Devices, which focuses on the development of innovative medical technologies. Their cutting-edge research helps us understand the economic implications of new medical devices and treatments. Additionally, the Institute for Clinical Trials at the University of Galway enhances our ability to design and evaluate clinical trials, ensuring robust and reliable outcomes for health policy analysis.

We also partner with Evidence Synthesis Ireland, which specializes in synthesizing research evidence to inform healthcare decisions. Their work helps us base our policy recommendations on the best available evidence. Other key collaborators include the HRB Primary Care Clinical Trials Network, which focuses on improving primary care through rigorous clinical trials, and the HRB Diabetes Collaborative Clinical Trial Network, which is dedicated to advancing diabetes research and care. These collaborations enable us to tackle a wide range of health issues with a comprehensive and informed approach.
