University of Galway Campus Tours

We are delighted to be able to offer you a complementary tour of our beautiful riverside campus situated on the picturesque west coast of Ireland.  

Our team of student ambassadors provide a guided walking tour around the grounds of University of Galway where you can view the campus facilities, locations of academic buildings and student services to give you an idea of student life at University of Galway. During our campus tours you will also be able to learn about the history of our university and most importantly speak with our student ambassadors about their experience of studying at University of Galway. 

Please note Campus Tours will not be taking place from December 1st 2024 to January 10th 2025

Secondary School Campus Tour Bookings

• If you wish to book a secondary school tour for you and your students please contact maureen.walsh@universityofgalway
• Campus tours will take approximately 40 minutes, with an additional 20 minutes at the end for you to chat to our student ambassadors and ask any questions you may have.
• Booking is required (min one week in advance)

Saturday Campus Tour Bookings

• If you wish to book a campus tour please complete our booking form available here. Please see booking form for tours in 2025 here. 
• Guided campus tours take place every Saturday at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
• Campus tours will take approximately 40 minutes, with an additional 20 minutes at the end for you to chat to our student ambassadors and ask any questions you may have.
• Booking is required (min 48 hours in advance).
