External Modules
How to register to get credit for external modules on your structured research programme
(within the approved IUA institutions Inter Institutional Collaborative MOU 31 Aug 2022 - 30 Aug 2025)
Steps you must take
1. Discuss and get approval from your supervisor to register for this module(s) within the approved IUA institutions.
2. Check with the other institution (module owner) if there are spaces and if fees are applicable. See this weblink for details on Information for Research Students going to a host institution
3. Once accepted on the module, you will need to contact your College office who support this module registration process at NUI Galway.
4. You must attach evidence of successful completion of your module(s) to your Annual Student Report to GRC form .
Note: Once approved at the Examination Board, the external module(s) results will be recorded on your student record.
