Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs)

ENLIGHT Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) allow credits to be gained towards your University of Galway degree programme while taking part in an international experience. BIPs combine online learning and up to one week of face-to-face learning at one of our partner universities with students from across Europe. Eligible students can apply for Erasmus+ funding to help cover the costs of participation in the on-site element.

How do I apply?

The first step is to speak to your Academic Coordinator to discuss the BIP of interest and how this may fit into your programme of study. Then complete the online application form by 15 April 2025.

I have applied, what happens next?

Applications will be reviewed in April, and outcomes will be sent out in early May at the latest. If your application has been successful, you will be contacted with information on how to apply for the Erasmus+ mobility grant, which is intended as a contribution towards the cost of traveling abroad for the physical component of the BIP
