University of Galway GDPR Data Processor Terms and Conditions

University of Galway GDPR Terms and Conditions applicable to all suppliers, contractors, agencies, temporary workers and external examiners who in any way process Personal Data (as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation) on behalf of University of Galway.

Any supplier, contractor, agency, temporary worker or external examiner who carries out work or services on behalf of University of Galway must comply with the University of Galway GDPR Data Processor Terms and Conditions. These terms supersede any terms or conditions attached to any supplier or contractor invoice or purchase order. Any University of Galway employee engaging a supplier, contractor, agency, temporary worker or external examiner should ensure that these terms and conditions are brought to the attention of and agreed to by the external entity or person engaged.

For University of Galway Service users engaging a third party, please ensure the terms of engagement include, together with the GDPR Terms and Conditions:

1. the subject-matter and duration of the personal data processing
2. the nature and purpose of the personal data processing
3. the type of personal data
4. the categories of data subjects.
