Overview

This module explores the application of the settings approach to health promotion for young people in educational settings. The key aspects of the settings approach will be reviewed and the special challenges of these settings will be explored. Examples of initiatives in the settings will be examined, through which students will be encouraged to identify aspects of good health promotion practice, and in particular evidence–based practice and policy.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be over 21 years of age and have a Level 8 undergraduate qualification or equivalent. 1 to 4 years relevant work-experience is recommended. Applications can be considered using  Recognition of Prior Learning
