How do I apply?
Applications can be made online here. Postal and in-person application options are not available.
This form is currently only available in English, but you can contact adultlearning@universityofgalway.ie if you wish to apply through Irish.

Participants for the online courses will be emailed an access link to the course before the course start date. Majority of the courses start the week beginning 10th February 2025. The day and time for each course are listed above on the website.
When is the closing date?
The closing date is Wednesday 5th February, 2025.
How much does the course cost?
The online short courses cost €145 with the except of 'The Galway Hooker' which costs €75 and runs for only 4 weeks.
Where are the courses held?
The courses will be delivered in a classroom or online via Zoom. Participants will receive an email with the access code and password the week before the course starts.
Are there any exams?
No, there are no exams at the end of the short courses as these courses are non-accredited.
Will I get a certificate?
No, you will not receive a certificate at the end of the courses as these courses are non-accredited.
Cancellations/Refunds
Our courses require a minimum number of enrolments. Courses that do not reach this will be cancelled. Applicants will be offered an alternative course or will be refunded* the course fee. To avoid not being able to enrol on a course through oversubscription or cancellation please apply as early as possible.
Refunds are only available if we have to cancel a course. It is in this regard that you are requested to inform yourself of the content of the course before enrolment.
