About Us

The University of Galway Insurance Office is responsible for managing the University Insurance Programme at an operational level. As well as providing advice and support on insurance matters, it is also responsible for the management and handling of insurance claims. ​

The Insurance Office arranges cover for the University’s property, travel, motor vehicles and legal liabilities such as employers’ liability and public liability. Other “ad-hoc” policies are also arranged.​
