Our Aims
The new Confucius Institute of Chinese and Regenerative Medicine at The University of Galway 高威大学中医与再生医学孔子学院 will integrate East and West, ancient and modern, Chinese and Regenerative Medicine in education and research.
The Confucius Institute at the University of Galway aims to promote the understanding of Chinese Language, Chinese Culture and Chinese Medicine in Ireland, to provide an excellent study environment for the education of Chinese Language and Chinese Medicine in Ireland, as well as to conduct joint research and educational activities in Chinese and Regenerative Medicine. The goal is to discover molecules from Chinese Medicine products, which have regenerative capabilities.
Our Confucius Institute is unique in its aim of combining Chinese Medicine and Regenerative Medicine and is head of the Global Alliance of Confucius Institutes for Chinese Medicine (GACICM) worldwide, the inaugural meeting of which will take place December 2023
