Keynote speaker Professor Clare Holdsworth shares her research on student volunteering and challenges us to examine our research methods and analysis.

Clare Holdsworth
Professor of Social Geography, Keele University , UK
Holdsworth has published widely on the relationship between students and local communities and how this impacts the student experience, including student volunteering. In 2010 she completed a collaborative project on student volunteering with the Institute for Volunteering Research, funded by the National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement. “I am developing this research on volunteering to consider the emphasis on the acquisition of experiences more generally as a vital part of youth transitions.”
