UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) scoping for the seventh IPCC report
Dr Una Murray nominated and supported the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) scoping for the seventh IPCC report. The UN IPCC provides the evidence to the governments of the World on climate change and its effects on people and the planet. This meeting in Malaysia in December 2024 discussed, debated and scoped out what should be included. Due to her work on climate, migration and social protection, Dr Murray was selected as an expert for Working Group II which covers Climate Change Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability. https://www.ipcc.ch/event/ar7-scoping-meeting/
