PhD stsudent Elena Aitova will present her research at the International Geographical Congress 2024, Elena will share the findings from a three-year study conducted at Cloncrow Bog in County Westmeath. The research focuses on the impact of rewetting on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions at an Irish domestic peat extraction site, specifically examining the fluxes of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4).
