Dr Una Murray, at 2024 UN Climate Change Conference COP29
Dr Una Murray, Director MA in International Development, attended the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference COP29 in Baku Azerbaijan [16-20 Nov]. Dr Murray engaged with colleagues from the Advisory Group on Climate Change and Human Mobility, which is a small but diverse group of national and international NGOs, academic and UN agencies who enhance understanding and action on human mobility in the context of climate change. She shared research results from her IRC project on social protection, migration and climate change. She also followed negotiations on the Global Goal on Adaptation indicators. and met with research partners (ILO, SEforALL, IOM, World Vision and other NGOs) in relation to follow up to and new MIDP research projects.
