Welcome to the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.

We are committed to embedding equality of opportunity, diversity and inclusion. We celebrate the environment that allows all students and staff to reach their potential. Our core values, articulated in our strategic plan, as well as the University of Galway strategy and sustainable developmental goals form the basis for promoting all aspects of equality, diversity and inclusion in our College. Our mission is to eliminate discrimination, advance equal opportunities and foster good relations by tackling prejudice and promoting understanding and inclusion.

Our EDI committee is proactively embedding equality into the life of our College through local and University-level actions. We are continuously developing staff recognition schemes such as the Dean's Awards, A Day in the Life, supporting leadership and EDI training for our staff, for example Aurora, promoting health equity, contribute to community and promote supports for staff and students.
