IMVIP 2023 Publishing Guide for Zenodo
The submission of your paper for publishing on Zenodo is very straightforward. Here
are the main steps:
- Go to https://zenodo.org or click here and create an individual account.
- Go to Upload and select <New Upload>
- Add files that you want to deposit. For most authors, you will add your camera-ready paper, select ‘conference paper’ and, optionally, add your presentation or poster from the conference. (If you wish you may upload your presentation/poster separately so it has an individual DOI but this is not necessary).
- Type IMVIP into the community field and choose “Irish Machine Vision and Image Processing Conference 2023” as your community to upload to.
- Add the paper title, authors and copy the paper abstract into the description field. (Keywords and other fields are optional). DOI will be assigned automatically when the paper is approved for publication, but you can choose to reserve it now if you want to take a note of it.
- Select “open access” and a licence type (the default, CCAI 4.0, is recommended).
- Complete the funding acknowledgement section.
- In the optional metadata fields select the conference sub-field and complete the following metadata:
a.Conference title: Irish Mahine Vision and Image Processing Conference 2023
b.Acronynm: IMVIP2023
c.Dates: 30/08/2023 - 01/09/2023
d.Place: University of Galway, Ireland
e.Website: https://www.universityofgalway.ie/c3i/news-&-events/imvip_2023/
f.Session: enter the session name from the conference program – e.g. “New Datasets and
Misc. Applications”; if a session is in two parts you can ignore the #1, #2
g.Part: you can leave this field blank
9. By pushing the publish button your files will be sent to the IMVIP2023 curator for approval and will be published with an individual DOI on Zenodo. (Note that they will also be available in the Conference Proceedings available from the website of the Irish Pattern Recognition and Classification Society, but this will take a bit longer!).
& That’s all folks!
Google will crawl the Zenodo repository every week or so and your paper should then appear in Google Scholar searches shortly thereafter.
