Corrigan & Corrigan Solicitors LLP is delighted to introduce a new Tort Prize for undergraduate students of University of Galway School of Law.

Corrigan & Corrigan believe firmly in the importance of education and lifelong learning, and we are proud to sponsor a new Tort Prize worth €500 for the first year student who achieves the highest mark in the Tort module.

Conditions:

  1. Students must be registered first-year undergraduate students of Tort Law (LW262 or LW3109) at University of Galway.
  1. To be eligible for consideration students:
  • must have passed the Tort Law module and
  • must have passed first year overall and
  • the School of Law must be satisfied that an appropriate standard has been reached.
  1. The prize will be awarded to the student with the highest result in Tort Law. The result is calculated using the result in the written examination and any continuous assessments.
  1. Where more than one student has the same highest result the prize will be evenly shared between those students.
