Biography

Currently an accounting lecturer with Dublin City University, Michael is a Chartered Accountant having trained with KPMG Dublin and possesses a number of years industry and practice experience. Michael also has a continual imvolvement with Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) in terms of lecturing, authoring, and examinations and has previously lectured on a range of ACCA and CIMA subjects in the areas of Financial Reporting and Management Accounting. He also provides ongoing consultancy services to a number of accounting firms including KPMG and Deloitte.

Research Interests

Michael is currently pursuing a PhD in the area of Management Control Systems and Innovation looking at how organsiations can tailor their control systems to achieve successful innovative outcomes.
