Mail Services

The Mail Room is located beside Áras Uí Chathail. An Post deliver all University mail here every morning and collect all mail every evening, Monday to Friday.

Eircodes

The Dept of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources review all postal addresses and update the Eircode database every quarter. These records are entirely based on An Post’s information.

Since University of Galway’s postal delivery address is the Mail Services Centre it is this location that has been assigned an Eircode. The Mail Centre’s Eircode and therefore the main University Eircode is H91 TK33.

The Eircode website advises that there is no mechanism by which you can apply for an Eircode. There are other locations on campus which have Eircodes (see Eircodes & Coordinates, University buildings).
