Galway City Council have issued a grant to the University's proposed Performance Place. Located at Earls Island, on the University South Campus, Performance Place is a contemporary new build which will support Academic Teaching, Creative Arts, together with a Sustainable Transport hub complete with changing facilities. This mix of Academic, Transportation interchange and Creative uses align with the Nuns Island Masterplan and the objectives of University of Galway. Performance Place will include a 400-Seater Auditorium which will cater for University and our wider Community usage.
