University of Galway has been awarded the Green Flag Award by An Taisce for the fifth time, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to environmental excellence. The Green Flag Award programme recognises high-quality parks and green spaces that are managed using sustainable and environmentally responsible practices. The University has successfully retained this international recognition each year since first earning the award in 2020.
