Emilia Kartsonas (intern)
Emilia Kartsonas - INTERN
Biography
Emi is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Notre Dame pursuing a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior with minors in Gender Studies and Business Economics. She is also a Glynn Family Honors Program scholar. This spring, she is a visiting student at the University of Galway.
Emi is a Melsheimer fellow at the Klau Institute for Civil and Human Rights at the University of Notre Dame, a role that has allowed her to volunteer with local organizations committed to protecting civil and human rights in the South Bend community. In her time on campus she has also been involved with the Institute for Social Concerns through seminars, classes, and immersive trips dedicated to exploring questions about justice, equity, and the common good.
This spring Emi is excited to support the BILQIS project at the Irish Centre for Human Rights. She looks forward to working with the team and helping to advance the research.
