Training Sessions
We have run three interactive 'bitesize' learning sessions on 'Creating Accessible Documents' in 2023 (May, October and December). Future sessions will be advertised on CorePortal.
This course was geared towards all staff using Microsoft Word and covered: 1. Explaining the 7 Principles of Universal Design (UD). 2. Applying UD to Institutional Communication 3. Discussing appropriate resources to check the accessibility of written communications. 4. Improving the accessibility of an Microsoft Word document. 5. Converting an Microsoft Word document to an accessible PDF.
