Biography

Dr. Daniel F. Llana is Agronomy Engineer and he obtained his Ph.D. at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain) by investigating Non-Destructive Testing applied on timber.

Daniel was a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Timber Engineering Research Group (TERG) at the National University of Ireland Galway from May 2017 to March 2020. He was involved in two research projects "Exploitation And Realisation of Thinnings from Hardwoods (EARTH)" from 2017 to 2019 and "Innovative Design for the Future - Use and Reuse of Wood (Building) Components (InFutUReWood)" from 2019 to 2020.

From April 2020, Daniel works in the Timber Construction Research Group (GICM) at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain).
