Biography

Natasha is a lecturer in the Accountancy & Finance Discipline in the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics. Natasha is a graduate of the B. Comm (Accounting) at University of Galway. Following this, Natasha obtained her professional qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ACA). 

Natasha is currently completing a Phd in Accounting. The study focuses on management control systems in a public hospital setting.

Research Interests

Natasha's research interests are in the field of management control systems, and the role that they play in managing tensions.

Natasha is also interested in accounting education and is currently developing a paper with Mary Barrett, titled "
Lessons from the Cliff Edge: Students perceptions of learning in an online setting during the COVID-19 pandemic". The emerging paper has been presented at IAFA and BAFA conferences in 2021.
