We launched the ILAS Engagement Programme for 2023-2024. Focusing on key areas of the Institute’s interest in the life course, the programme was designed around two new events series: the ILAS International Training Series provided training on state-of-the-art methodological approaches for conducting impactful life-course research; the ILAS Public Policy Innovation Series examined policy making innovation across the life course and offered a space for policy stakeholders to critically reflect on what makes effective public policy.

ILAS

The Institute aims to advance people’s lives in Ireland and internationally who face issues with older life, living with disability, children, youth and parents who are vulnerable in social and other contexts. The research at the Institute is underpinned by academic staff and researchers who are keen the work we do makes a difference.
