ILAS hosted the first training seminar on ‘Community Collaborations: Building Research Evidence for Policy Impact Across the Life Course’, on November 28th. This seminar examined how to design, develop and implement research in partnership with the communities that we conduct research with. The session included talks by Prof. Linda Steele from the University of Technology, Sydney, and Dr. Harry Rutner from the Australian Centre for Disability Law. Information on up-coming Training Seminars in 2024 will be announced in due course.

The Institute aims to advance people’s lives in Ireland and internationally who face issues with older life, living with disability, children, youth and parents who are vulnerable in social and other contexts.
