Biography

Dr Veronica McInerney Administrative Director, Advanced Therapies and Cancer Research Group, HRB Clinical Research Facility Galway, is a registered general nurse with extensive experience in Haematology/Oncology  and  Cell Therapy Clinical Research. Her interest lies in the improvement of health outcomes through clinical research and evidence- based practice. Veronicas research expertise is in research project development and management with a special interest in First in Man , Cell Therapy Research and Quality of Life research. Veronica  teaches on the undergraduate and post graduate courses; Nursing, MSC Clinical Research, MSc Regenerative Medicine and MSc Cell Manufacturing and is co-author on several peer reviewed papers. She is a member of the School of Nursing and Midwifery Research Committee and represents nurses nationally on the Irish Research Nurses and Midwifes Network (IRNM) National Executive Committee.
