Law School Staff Cited in Supreme Court Decision

Other work by Dr Quinlivan, and by students of the LLM in International and Comparative Disability Law and Policy, was previously incorporated in the General Comment on Article 5 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). The General Comment, which addresses equality and non-discrimination for persons with disabilities, was adopted by the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities last year.
Dr Quinlivan and Prof. Quinn are experts in disability law, and the citation of their work is a testament to the quality of their research, and to its national and international impact.
The incorporation of wording by our LLM students in the General Comment demonstrates the very high quality of their work also, and their strong commitment to social justice. Our congratulations to all concerned, and also to Dr Quinlivan, who led the group, on this wonderful achievement.
