Prof Martin O’Halloran

Professor Martin O’Halloran is Director of the Translational Medical Device Lab at University of Galway, the first medical device lab in Ireland to be embedded in a regional hospital and co-located with a clinical trials facility. Prof. O’Halloran is also the Executive Director of BioInnovate.

Prof Mark Bruzzi

Professor Mark Bruzzi is a Professor in Biomedical Engineering at University of Galway.

Prof Faisal Sharif

Non-Executive Director

Professor Faisal Sharif is Professor in Translational Cardiovascular Medicine and Innovation at the University of Galway and a consultant Interventional Cardiologist for Galway University Hospitals. He is also Clinical Director, an Advisory Board Member and a Non-Executive Director of BioInnovate. Prof. Sharif also serves as a board and faculty member for the Resistant Hypertension Course hosted by EuroPCR, the first Centre of Excellence (CoE) for renal artery denervation training in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Dr Sinéad Walsh

Dr. Sinéad Walsh, Director of Operations, joined BioInnovate in March 2022. Sinéad leads the programme operations as well as shaping the programme's strategic policies.
