You can learn more about on-campus residences, Corrib Village, Goldcrest Village and Dunlin Village here.

If you are searching for private accommodation, we recommend that you arrive in Galway well in advance of term to arrange viewings. We advise against sending money to a landlord until you have seen the property in person. You can find more info on safely searching for private accommodation in our FAQs here.

Postgraduate (Ireland):

Applications for on-campus accommodation has now closed. For more information please visit Campus Living.

Postgraduate (UK):

Only students who have accepted their course offer and paid the university deposit will be considered for on-campus accommodation. On Tuesday, 9 May between 12pm and 13pm (Irish standard time) campus booking codes will be distributed by Campus Living to those who have completed the above steps. Offers will be sent bi-weekly until all rooms are reserved.

If you do not receive a booking code on this date or bi-weekly then the on-campus international office allocation for your cohort has reached full capacity.

Alternative Accommodation

To avoid disappointment, it is advisable to apply for more than just University campus accommodation as demand is always greater than supply.

Learn more about private accommodation options in our FAQs here. You will find links to various websites under the heading 'Off-Campus Accommodation' (where you will find a list of private student villages) and our very own Studentpad. These operate year-round; we suggest starting your search early (March/April) and keeping an eye on the websites throughout the summer months too, but the reality is that a lot of property owners do not advertise until mid-August.
