Student Ambassador Activities

Student Ambassadors are often the first point of contact for prospective students, their families, and many other visitors to the campus. You won’t have to take part in all these activities, depending on what interests you, but student ambassadors are required to support our Open Days which take place in March and October each year, and recieve training on our Campus Tours.  Here are a few examples of other ways you can help the University of Galway:

Represent university of Galway at various events:

Such as Open Days - undergraduate and postgraduate, CAO Information Evenings, career fairs, online Q & A sessions,  and other on campus events.

General Administrative support:

Assisting the Student Recruitment and Outreach team in the lead up to events such as open Days, College Awareness Week, Campus events, Campus visits and any other ad hoc duties.

Meeting future University of Galway students:

Help prospective students learn more about University of Galway, through our Campus Tours, Open Days and recruitment events.

Showcase the University of Galway experience:

Get to share your story by featuring in videos, blogs, photoshoots, social media and podcasts.

From time to time other activities may come up. Ambassador hours are flexible, and vary depending on the time of year.
