Our Strategy

The NUI Galway strategy for 2020–2025 aims to establish the University as a globally distinctive, research-driven centre for sustainable societal change.
Our vision will be guided by our core values of respect in our actions, excellence in our work, openness in our outlook and sustainability in our approach. 

The Vice-President for Engagement, Paul Dodd implements this strategy by measuring impact, and developing key external alliances for individual and philanthropic donation.  The VP for Engagement is responsible for supporting and driving research initiatives to find solutions to global societal and environmental challenges.
