This video was recorded during the opening session of the "Growth and Crisis, Social Structure of Accumulation Theory and Analysis"
Conference hold in Galway in the Cairnes Graduate School of Business and Public Policy at the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) on the 2nd of November 2006.
The paper presented by Dr. Terrence McDonough provides a comprehensive review of the social structure of accumulation (SSA) literature produced over the last decade.
Dr. McDonough identifies important contributions, trends and theoretical innovations. He discusses remaining theoretical issues.
McDonough also examines developments and convergences with related schools of thoughts.
