Investigators
Davood Roshan
Dr. Davood Roshan is an Assistant Professor in Statistical Science at University of Galway and holds a PhD in Biostatistics. Davood's research includes developing and deploying models for complex, high-dimensional longitudinal data, with applications ranging from cancer research to medical imaging and to sports science. In particular, his current research focuses on developing advanced Statistical and AI-driven algorithms to identify meaningful changes in streaming clinical data collected from medical devices for effective diagnosis.
Researchers in Davood's team will have access to advanced cluster computing servers enabling them to perform high computational tasks including simulation, image and signal processing.
General area of research: Dr. Roshan's research focuses on Statistics, Translational Statistics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on longitudinal data analysis and the development of predictive tools.
