Adrienne Gorman
Dr Gorman is a senior lecturer in Biochemistry and a PI in the Apoptosis Research Centre at University of Galway. She is the Vice Dean for Research in the College of Science. Her research is focused on cell death and survival signalling, with a particular interest in cell survival signalling that is mediated by activation of cell stress response pathways.

Professor David Brayden is a Full Professor and Professor of Advanced Drug Delivery at the University College Dublin (UCD) School of Veterinary Medicine and is also a Fellow of the UCD Conway Institute. He has established a critical mass of drug delivery expertise in Ireland and led the SFI Irish Drug Delivery network from 2008-2013. His major research interests are in oral, buccal, and intra-articular peptide delivery using permeation enhancers, nanotechnology, and drug-device combinations.
