The Centre for Disability Law and Policy (CDLP) at the University of Galway is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 17th International Disability Law Summer School.  Our theme this year is "The UNCRPD Twenty Years on: New Horizons and Emerging Challenges", bringing together key stakeholders involved in implementing and monitoring the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). This year’s event will run from the 15 - 17 June 2026 and follow a hybrid approach, enabling delegates to participate in-person or online. 

Call for Abstracts

We are delighted to invite submissions of abstracts for presentations on our expert panel sessions alongside our invited speakers again this year. We welcome submissions from researchers, activists, and representatives of disabled persons’ organisations, and are particularly interested in hearing from people with multiple marginalised identities.
