CEGS Co-Director
Esther is a Co-Founder and Co-Director of Centre for Entrepreneurial Growth and Scaling (CEGS) and Professor of Strategy, Leadership and Change at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Her research and teaching interests revolve around the strategic challenges of internationally operating organisations, particularly globally scaling businesses. She has worked closely with several scaling firms and multinational corporations in Ireland, France, the U.K. and the U.S. on several case studies and research projects. Among others, she has been publishing research papers and articles on topics related to scaling and entrepreneurship in the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Long Range Planning and Sloan Management Review. Esther currently serves as one of the editors of a special issue on scaling and scale-ups in the Journal of World Business. She is also a facilitator of CEGS’s Scaling Masterclasses.
